Educator Guided Tours

Are you a teacher, a university professor, or an education administrator visiting Melbourne, Victoria, Australia?

Are you interested in seeing some aspects of our education system during your visit?

If so, make the most of your available time by having a local educator guide you to places which interest you, and also provide you with background information.

What Services Are Offered?

We offer personalised guided educational interest tours which can be as general as a brief look at a number of education locations, or as specific as an intensive visit to one particular site.
We also offer transfer services between airport or other transport terminal and your accommodation, or between meeting locations.

Examples of some educational interest tours are:

General tours to see a variety of schools, colleges, and university campuses;
Specific tours to particular universities, colleges, schools, or groups of schools (for example, independent, Catholic, or government schools; secondary schools, primary schools or kindergartens; single-sex or co-educational schools; alternative schools; metropolitan or country schools; large schools or small schools);
Meetings with university, college, or school staff (at least 4 weeks notice required);
Observation of university, college, or school classes and other activities (at least 4 weeks notice required).

(Please note that the Victorian school and college year is from late January to mid-December, although senior classes finish in late October. The university year is from mid-February to mid-October, with some summer school classes in January.)

If you or people travelling with you have other special interests, or simply want to do some general sightseeing, we can weave those needs or wishes in with your education-related visits as well.
